I believe their other hits were in the UK. (Wikipedia is my best friend these days) They did have one other US hit-- "It Must Be Love"-- so I guess technically they are a "two hit wonder". But they are featured on my handy-dandy one hit wonder site (http://www.onehitwondercenter.com/) so I'm going with it :)
UK, Europe, Japan, Australia... thirty years of gold and platinum selling records, one of the most famous pop ska bands in the world. Not really in the same league as Kajagoogoo.
Just basing it on Amercian chart success I take it.
My son rediscovered this hit, downloaded it and drove his sisters to distraction, replaying it over and over. I don't mind--must be the nostalgia factor.

How are Madness a one-hit wonder? They had masses of hits. I mean loads and loads and loads. gtry sticking their name in youtube.
